 I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Family Service Society of Yonkers (FSSY).  A licensed, not-for-profit agency originally founded in 1883 as the Charity Organization of the City of Yonkers, FSSY has a proud tradition of serving families and individuals who turn to us in need.  Recent years have seen the unprecedented growth of our organization as we have expanded our myriad programs and services to assist residents of Westchester County and the Bronx, as well as our neighbors in Yonkers.   Whether providing home care for the elderly, guardianship protection for incapacitated seniors, housing and accessibility modifications for the disabled or social services for kinship caregivers, FSSY’s dedicated and exceptionally qualified staff is available to help meet the unique challenges facing each individual.  In addition, we are privileged to work in collaboration with other local, county and state agencies as we seek to offer innovative programs that respond to the critical needs of the community.  Our goal, during these difficult economic times as in the past, is to provide the highest quality of service to ensure the health and well-being of all who request our assistance.
